El Pasoans Fighting Hunger, El Paso's Food Bank, is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, hunger relief organization. The food bank is the distribution center that serves as a clearing house to solicit, inspect, repack and distribute food to partner agencies. Partner agencies are food pantries, churches, soup kitchens and shelters that feed the 1 in 3 people who are food insecure in our community.
Where does the food come from?
El Pasoans Fighting Hunger utilizes four sources for food procurement - the USDA, Feeding America, food rescue from grocery stores, and food donations.
Companies, organizations and members of the community also play a key role by making generous monetary and food donations that help El Pasoans Fighting Hunger fulfill its mission.
