(January 24, 2019) El Paso, TX-- For more than a month, individuals and families have been impacted by the government shutdown. Having to choose between paying rent, utilities or food are the issues that many federal employees are having to deal with. Together, we are able to make sure we feed those affected.
Feeding America, the nation's largest food charity, has generously provided financial support to El Pasoans Fighting Hunger to assist local federal workers and other community members affected by the shutdown. El Pasoans Fighting Hunger has emergency food baskets for impacted employees available at our warehouse distribution office, available Monday through Friday 8am-5pm: 9541 Plaza Circle, El Paso, TX 79927.
To locate food distribution times at one of our partner pantries, soup kitchens and shelters--download the attached list or click on the Need Help? tab.
